For us kayaking 2023 started on April 13 th at Trap State Park near Laurel, DE. No matter the season Trap Park is always beautiful. Due to a dead camera battery we have just a few cell phone pictures. The highlight of this trip was watching a Pileated Woodpecker going into his nest and a Bald Eagle fishing on the lake. If you visit be sure to watch for wood ducks. We have seen them resting on trees and while walking there recently we spotted a female coming out of a nest.

Enjoy Trap Pond no matter the season.
